继承上一部death to 2020的风格，只有这种介于真真假假直接，荒诞的喜剧才能让人笑对又一操蛋的一年。
已经成为另一种类型的常驻贺岁片了。还是一如既往的套路：伪纪录片的模式，浅显直白的讽刺，荒诞卖丑的受访者，一年各类泛美流行事件的回顾。但比起前作，2021后疫情时代下的美国似乎已经更加疯狂，此情此景和《不要抬头》恰巧形成了互文：娱乐至死的个体、撕裂的社会。
