The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 艾伦·索金的一贯发挥，保持了快节奏和高密度的台词，工整且有力。只不过倾向性还是很明显的，并且明明是七君子的故事，电影却拍成了五君子，人物塑造的也略显扁平。
终于看了。我感觉比那个《聚焦》要差一点。当然啦，很工整，值得一看，不会觉得无聊。是我比较挑剔啦，我还是觉得有那么一两处有些煽情了，就是靠音乐推上去的……里面那个律师，是头号玩家里的游戏设计者，我一直喜欢他说话的感觉，是唯一一个感觉带着痰、但丝毫不觉得恶心反而让我感觉可信赖的老者的声音。里面的好几个主演都是熟面孔了，都是喜欢的演员。很好的观影体验。
最后，与其拿本片反思遥远美国的当下，不妨反思邻近香港的当下。
杀鸡给猴看应该是任何政府任何时期都很惯用的伎俩了，面对政府和司法的不公的那种窒息感简直表现得淋漓尽致，我也再一次被提醒了一个事实：人类真的是历史的复读机。
一切的不公，至少还可以说出来。另外，美国警察的所作所为，看来和政体的意志是一致的。
就是幾年前看過這個令我一發不可收拾的愛上歌劇！

我记得第一次看是在第一次艺考的那个冬天看的现场盗摄版，北京下了初雪，我躲在被窝里看这部剧，心里充满了对舞台的向往，然后情不自禁地流泪，至今我仍然觉得小成本音乐剧的成功典范就应该参考它，绝妙。
太好听了！不过音乐剧还是要看现场的！荧幕上真的差太多
A great musical telling an inspiring true story in an exhilarating fashion that celebrates decency and kindness!
60年代反战主义和民权运动时期的法庭大戏。题材的政治相关度极高，节奏也是把握得动人心魄。然而整个主题铺得略开，匠气也略重了些，尽管不影响可看性。遗憾的是这样的主题到如今，难免有老调重弹之嫌——是文艺界的作用太渺小，还是问题本身太巨大？

于漫漫黑夜中，绝望无尽处，看到光，那是人性中的“善”，总有希望，总有温暖。
是否是在暗示老美民众，他们正在过着跟1968相似的时代？
好片，这才是我想看到的六十年代，三个极左群体都特别鲜明，唯一可惜的是黑豹党戏份偏少了（虽然那句can you breathe一定是在指代BLM了）。少搞点Joker这样的假大空吧，历史里的真刀真枪还还嫌少吗？
