The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很有张力的法庭群戏，台词和冲突设置满分。看过的片子里，cultural revolution真是影响了全世界，从北爱尔兰（以父之名）到巴黎（戏梦巴黎），再到芝加哥的Abbie Hoffman。

不太了解美国这一段历史，观影过程略枯涩了一点，但结尾小雀斑庭审的那段戏还是很燃的！对比此时此刻的灯塔国，感觉导演有意无意还是借古喻今有一些讽刺的味道，不过反战的思想无论何时还是值得肯定的。
艾伦索金来做这个项目再合适不过：这是个典型的好莱坞作业，但在猛烈的悲壮情绪势在必行的情况下，他插入刻薄、反讽和喜剧式语言寻求平衡，人物群像在回溯事件的交叉念白中得以塑造，唯一的缺憾是法官作为工具人在可能没有更好的存在方式了
整体下来还是蛮顺畅的
起承转合都很标准的电影，这代美国左派缺少了锐意进取的反思，更多的是对反抗的歌颂

本部电影的人物刻画从这一点来看，仍然有不足之处，挖掘得不够透彻，而法庭上的冲撞对决，插科打诨，很难说会有多少精彩之处。
喜欢小雀斑饰演的汤姆海登这个角色，有克制，有理智，有热血，有情义。

真正艰难的不在于与谁抗争，而是坦然呈现自己。交叉剪辑叙事，人物也不少，略凌乱。即便大家都知道在推的圆石会滑落，至少别让它变得太大太重，否则推不动会被压死。
1.性别、种族歧视赤裸裸的体现 2.反越战中的嬉皮士表象和文化政治革命内里 3.轰动一时的大事件也是由偶然的个体和必然的趋势引发的 4.当法制变成人治，弱小的一方有多难维权，公权力的滥用 5.永远都不要小瞧脱口秀演员。
7.5/10 除了剪辑很出色，其他的真就很规整。

其实能够欣赏到这样的故事无非也是历史上“它”被翻身了，那些被管控，恶意压制的故事我们却一直没法看到。希望那些实施犯罪又暂时逃之夭夭的人终有恶报。
念名字的部分其实让我觉得稍微有点突然。剩下的就是完美，剧本太扎实了。
