The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这种老人+动物+小男孩成长的中成本制作在十年前还是迪士尼最拿手的题材，而如今却只有东木能拍得出来了。相较10年代后期的几部片，本片对于东木来说确实算是信手拈来的小品，但依然温柔如故
真的很垃圾。。披着哥特外衣的普通动漫电影。。。剧情莫名其妙
好弱智，看完之后更一般般，不然也不是一般般了

雄鸡的tough，牛仔的soft，不见猛男落泪，其哭却声声可闻。3.5
美墨边境风光养眼，东木老爷看起来身体状态也不错，就是剧作没有最大化利用好创意，太过依赖对白而缺少画面的动态；情节的设计也缺点意思，比如那只公鸡原本可以更多参与到故事中来。
东木拍一部少一部了，真不该把精力浪费在这样平庸的项目上，与《骡子》和《理查德朱维尔的哀歌》相比创作力是断崖式的下滑。但一些片段还挺感人的，“我不知道怎么治愈老”，“男子气概被高估了，它没什么了不起的”。

超爱！这部变公路片了，个人更喜欢这种节奏，一家人萌翻，老舅MVP了
童话般的美好与平淡，牛仔终将逝去，但西部精神永不消逝。东木即使是拍自己在大银幕上种种花养养草，我们做影迷的也很知足了。
