The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 看到监狱的部分有惊喜，但和算牌始终有点割裂，如果只讲虐囚会不会好一些？
淡淡的忧伤，说不上来的感觉；记忆深刻的一个人在被白被单裹好的桌子上一边记录，一遍喝酒的场面；可能内心中有这样的渴望。
施拉德的影像不敢苟同，可本子却很有意思，口吻像是你在德州遇见一个话很多却不着重点，话梢茂密可远端总是被盖住，所有段落的最后都是youknow，装腔作势看穿美国内在极权却只想从中混口饭吃，每一天重复的生活或许才是自由。最后赌局和杀人用力有点大了，也有点解释过多，也挺自恋的哈哈
扑克手的特写，广角长镜头的梦魇，迷茫的自我救赎，对布列松的招魂，施拉德的回光返照。
从头喊到尾的usa，最后监狱成为归宿，一边反思一边讽刺，像是没有力气了。

一直以为旅馆用布包住会发生什么，结果啥也没有......
是不是有点类似
几乎所有喜欢的镜头都剪在预告片里了。taxi driver的味道吗？有那么一点，不足以支撑我喜欢这部电影。
让我有点想起《第一归正会》。是我喜欢的风格。
并没有那么差，但又的确很多时候并没有满足类型期待。
监狱VR，感觉就像是没有贴好的hdr环境贴图。一个关于自我救赎的故事。
奥斯卡太辣太帅了，剧情比较平淡，但是结局还不错
2.5；看的时候就觉得是在pandemic期间用无人的赌场拍的，一查Wikipedia果然，用了六天就拍完了。Paul Schrader还是安心写剧本吧，好的影评人未必是好导演。
2.5 救贖、孤獨、日記獨白、夜間流離的戲份都看得出 Taxi Driver 的影子，但Paul Schrader 始終不是 Martin Scorsese 啊
算牌人初进年轻人旅馆镜头首次出戏，整体冷感基调尚不成熟，不出色不坏。
有些镜头蛮有意思的，大段的广角和监狱里的百态，很妙。
