The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 铲屎机器人养成记！话说这机器人真不是从隔壁《爱死机》跑过来赚外快的吗？情节也连得上：狗狗去世后杰夫开始环球旅行遇到了其他两个机器人同伴，最后遭到猫猫围攻，再次干起铲屎的老本行。

一个传承的独角戏，在末日与机器人的外衣下。你可以不甘可以不舍，最后还是要放手，想到以后对你无限担心，然而你还是要独自过出自己的人生。
末世公路片，喜欢它拍得温情而幽默，在如今的世情下，太需要这样的片子让人喘一口气了。
谁能想到，末世之下人工智能是因为要照顾一条狗被创造出来呢？
