The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 壓抑程度比「瀑布」要再高出很多，一直在描寫家庭吵架，場景又刻意調得很昏暗，很真實、但直到最後都沒有破解，女孩到底要不要回美國？如何解決自己的內心矛盾？本作最多只是揭露了一些實現American Dream的華人現象而已。
这个片子可比真人快打好看太多了，一部完整的故事，血腥程度也比真人快打好看。

挺好的，剧情完整，打戏也很干净，值得一看。

故事还比较完整，也很紧凑，不出戏、不犯困，比剧版好太多.！

属于东亚人才能看懂的家庭关系电影，在文化与成长冲突的激流下，其实有着家庭里每个人彼此牵绊的感情在涌动。
另外，猎魔人的情节……很像……《大剑》！
比剧版好看，前传性质的作品，讲了维瑟米尔和凯尔莫罕大屠杀的故事，配乐特别好
女主因仇恨而疯狂，老狼被金钱所蒙蔽，最后酿成了一场彻底的悲剧。剧情接上了，但真希望老爷子能阻止这一切。
这看起来不像猎魔人收拾怪物，倒像隔壁斯巴达兄弟暴打恶魔
怪物起源，为了有解决麻烦的空间而制造麻烦！
03年的《爷爷泡的茶》在网吧里作为若有若无的BGM的时候，一下子就把我拉回了模糊的非典状态~

大量重复的争吵冲突，母亲死亡的恐惧成为女儿的恐惧，她的软弱会使女儿软弱，文化隔阂仅仅伏流在校园教育的表面，非典疫情沦为摆设。面对如此社会情景下缺乏犀利的剖析视角，十分想念杨德昌。
