The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 加菲的演技实在是一百分 但是剧作的节奏差些火候 观感并不上乘 似乎面面俱到 但也导致笔墨太散 缺少一锤定音的高潮

rent的诞生背景在此
一般吧，感觉还不如la la land 好看呢，就新加的第二幕那首歌那段还行，其他就普通。还是真事儿改编，他的牛逼我是一点没看出来，就觉得挺自私的。

轻易就能妥协
再走一步，再走两步。没有一刻可以浪费
不跟《爱乐之城》比较就还可，一旦比较就立刻千疮百孔。音乐、调度、编舞（如果有）和剧作人物一样既没有整体感也没有层次感，文本本没有足够丰富的情绪，却要塞入大量的唱段和内心戏，只会显得絮烦甚至有点傻。唯一真正让我喜欢的点是刻画创作焦虑的感觉是对的，但作为内卷时代的“后浪”看他们的焦虑真的难以抑制的有种嫌弃感。大概这位新导演以为引入同性、有色裔再来谈梦想就是跟上了时代，呵呵这不叫创作，这叫他妈的投机取巧！Shame on you！！！
主要是珠玉在前，相比类似的爱乐之城和咖啡公社，这个片子有些太文艺青年的自我感动。
所以只能力求幸福的人生
作为一部musical，music不好是原罪
又一个Here's to the Fools who Dream，创意产业劝退片，其它行业毕业一直失业又何尝没有共鸣。简单的Teenpop rock和简单的主题、诉求和挣扎，但确实是林曼米三部剧唯一好听的，台上台下剧里剧外的承接也是少有的流畅自然，也真的受不了再看一遍
当然，关于这种有所执着，有所梦想的坚持，如若能代入于观众的语境，那必然是很好的，只可惜主角身边一群艾滋患者，也让我试图代入主角时心有戚戚。
I may never find a musical that speaks to me like La La Land, or maybe it’s not a musical I should be looking for. And stories like these, they make you wander why, and how could I.
