The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 主线剧情只能说是走个过场吧，看点基本都集中在冷幽默上了。

早之前看过丹麦的原版，还依稀记得一些不多的情节，所以看了美版后觉得剧情上差不多，通过电话单纯冷冰冰的交流，试图拯救一切，让剧情更加紧张，杰克的演技大大的加分
