The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 好像真的从疫情导致影院停摆后才开始注意电影在我们生活中的意义。讨论了那么多电影语言，文化意义，影院的在场属性，都不如今天在满座的影院看完一场合家欢，出门后在canada day躁动的大街上再看完一场烟花更让人对电影，对生活感到感激。
