The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 跟着笑场了好几次；后边又看得嚎啕大哭，一发不可收拾。。
“唯精神坚不可摧”，有着这样信念的茨威格同年也自尽了……
可能以前看的时候没有注意，山田洋次的电影竟然如此有纵深感，配合这古老的故事看起来反而有剧场效果，很有复古魅力。

令人作呕，松竹百年不缺可以拍的吧，自我感动强行煽情到这个地步山田洋次不如退休算了
如果不是本来的主演男主爷爷因为疫情去世，可能片子质量要好很多。感情分加上北影节最后一场欢快的观影气氛值得多打一分，电影里面网站主页令人泪目

山田洋次还是擅长家庭戏啊，有几幕看得鼻头发酸，眼眶湿润，但总体这片子 只能算一般……
这才是过年该看的电影。平凡人平凡事拍出了花儿。
为什么一直没人改编原著，因为难嘛，全篇心理描写，怎么好改的。这部还行，尽量做到心理描写的外化，故事情节合理化，已经不完全是原著的轨迹，也可以理解
一部老年人拍给老年人看的电影，描述了一个电影神话，也衬托出这个社会已经是垂垂老矣，暮年的气氛太强烈了。
很想给差评，演员好感，故事不怎么样，电影圈盛产渣男，他年纪轻轻就开始如丧家犬的一生。拖累一个好女人，心疼这么好的女人，嫁给所谓的“才华”男，悲惨的伺候渣男一生……一把年纪还要为了替他还债 擦洗脏乱男厕。这样的人拿剧本优胜奖，毫无说服力。认同--唯电影和爱不能辜负，但如此渣男毫无立场。
一封对电影的情书，通过放映转场回过去很有情调，接回现实也便是回忆。
看到山田洋次的新电影依然会感动，很好的故事，拜托导演继续拍下去吧！
