The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 比游戏里更NPC的是那个一直跟着Keys离开的保安。另外个人觉得最炸的一个梗是让黑人说出“Our lives matter”的台词。
没有新意，都是老梗，并不觉得好笑。很合格的商业片，适合喜欢看爆米花电影的观众，这一年，上映了这么多糟糕的片子，终于有一部能看的了，所以还是很值得推荐。
除了对游戏公司的设计太过薄弱以外，全都很优秀。
相比楚门土拨鼠明日边缘等等更接近《乐高大电影》，大设定、人物本质上是完全相同的，不过桥段处理的都不一样，撞梗不撞戏吧。观影体验非常好，爆米花大片要是都能是这个水准就好了
Hers风格一转，80年代的柔光，夜电台，开头有滑入梦幻的危险。随后用Talulah证明印象式笔触的必要性，脸庞高悬心内，夜之花照耀巴黎。结尾在记忆中溯回，迫切地抓住一瞬，肉身同在多可贵。
漏洞多，尬点多。最大的亮点是掏出美国队长盾牌挡一拳，然后克里斯埃文斯在电脑上看。
对这种设定没有抵抗力，就像40年代有《街角的商店》，90年代有《电子情书》，这大概就是新世代的代码爱。但真的过于迪士尼感，看完的感受大概就是：啊今年的迪士尼动画真不错。

NPC对决麻花腾，打破常规，自由＝失控。其实更接近《世界旦夕之间》和《源代码》，到头来是部不错的爱情片。朱迪科默今年出镜率真高。★★★☆/7.3
还挺好看的，就，对人工智能的理解某种程度上也到位，哈哈哈，虽然对我来说看下来还是有尬点
彩蛋肯定没有头号玩家来得多来的惊喜，不过美队出来那一刻太惊喜了，后来发现狼叔和强森都有参与，不过是配音，整体效果确实不错很欢乐，IMAX的荧幕效果也非常爽。
Guy让我想起《银翼杀手2049》中的K。他们作为工具、手段被创造，又都经历了幻灭进而试图在荒谬、虚假的世界中寻求自由与意义，最终摆脱工具性，实现了存在的目的性，他们都是“more human than humans”的角色。
4.5 私心很喜欢，尤其是八十年代那摇曳而迷幻的音乐，飘荡在醉人的巴黎的夜，仿佛是那抚慰人心的电波，温暖夜归的人。极小极平常的故事却拍出了对时代的追缅和对城市的热爱，叙事和表演滴水不漏，简直是以小见大拍电影的范本。
非常欢乐，爆米花，导演发挥的非常出色，犹如当年的《铁甲钢拳》一样，希望他的《死侍3》可以更好看。……女主从《杀死伊芙》后，就犹如开挂，20多岁现在已经成为好莱坞一线的青年女星。……小贱贱不用说，继续加油，等着你加入漫威宇宙。……影片最大的惊喜就是美队的客串，还有我最爱的光剑，伴随着BGM，直接上脑，迪斯尼收了福克斯，IP版权多就是好。……本片故事很简单，类似于虚拟版的《楚门的世界》。……二刷的时候，会发现细节都埋在前面了，只要留心观察。……片尾曲Mariah Carey《Fantasy》。
相当惊喜，在情节主线并无突破的情况下专注细节，创造了不少辉煌时刻，的确可称游戏版楚门世界，资深游戏迷估计会打五星。
人类需要在游戏里厮杀、npc需要在觉醒里善良。有时反而希望时代不要走太快，大家在觉醒时段里多待些日子就好了。
还不错的爆米花吧……一年多没进电影院了我的耳朵有点适应不了电影院的音量，一场看完差点聋了；心脏还要跟着各种轰鸣爆炸声共振，这场电影看得我literally很心累……
过程很happy，爆笑不断，到对打肌肉男时达到高峰，我们国家有类似的是不是也可以顺手拿出个金箍棒之类的。结尾很忧伤。英雄也当了，世界也拯救了，可之后呢？以前还有固定任务，是在战火中挖掘出的可贵人心。但现在“神灵”为npc们设计了舒适的环境，不需要去奋斗，那能做些什么呢？好像npc们失去了生活的目标。
有的时候看电影的外在情况真的很能影响观影感受，你让我快乐了，我愿意奉上五星好评。
游戏中的世界和现实何等相似……盖原来是程序员写给心爱女孩子的一封情书，结尾被感动了。
