The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 类似的电影有一些了，所以有点似曾相识的感觉。电影本身还是拍得挺不错的，节奏有点赶，要是拍成剧效果应该会更好。
熟悉的美学风格，泰伦斯·马利克家族又添新人，好在这个聊斋故事足够神奇。一旦你代入故事的视角，换成被残杀的无辜村民，这个女巫故事就变得没那么感人了吧。
全片色彩也很棒，但不知道为什么，但凡跟俄罗斯（附近）地区挂钩的电影，画面都会充斥着冷色调，大概跟寒冷的气候有关吧。那段历史也会让人不寒而栗。
监狱相遇那段，Arek眼里烁着的那份诧异与失望，对眼前人的怀疑、信任与期待，谁能不被共情！Arek和《孽子》里的小玉是一样的人。

以真实的母女开始，以真实的母女结尾，以女巫的母女串联；
部分镜头和延伸出来的概念很美丽，但是我无法认同一些女主观点，我就是喜欢孤单。
以人类认知雏形起始，化身为女人，男人，孩童，躯体探索后转而深入至思维情感，化身为爱侣，伙伴，终以母性本能化茧成蝶，探索过程颇有轮回宿命论的意味。

比较文艺的喻言电影，表面是女巫，但核心讨论的是女人和人，从少女到少妇，甚至男人，带着观众体会了当成为不同的人时，不同的心境。故事和形式太巧妙了，不同的演员演绎同一个角色，内涵比较丰富，不适合普通的观影者。
拼凑感模仿感挺强，讲到男性女性部分好像还行，然后突然各种拐弯，“然鹅…然鹅…”。
