The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 十分精致，两个小时的人物塞下这么多人物，几条线交叉进行还不乱十分难得。对于一部剧集都没看过的我来说，主要是影片开头众多人名和陌生面孔要缕清关系有点难，但不影响理解故事。英式幽默一向以来的台词和笑点也是喜欢英式电影的福音。

上一集唐顿，是19-20的年末年始——没错，就是covid来之前那个冬天；当时自己写到：朝着这种唐顿式的皆大欢喜而奋斗...现在看来，大约打那个时候起，唐顿里的生活与我们的现状，都朝着曾经的憧憬的不同方向，各自走的有点远。
视角停顿转换特别舒适、流畅，长镜头恰到好处，还是英国人会拍英国人🥺。休的魅力挡不住。
一出关于梦想与坚持的宣言，一封写给剧院和所有行业人的情书。并非功成名就的风光回望，却是更为后人熟知的错过和遗憾；他在生前没有真正知道自己的成功，失败与潦倒注解了与之后种种成就的刺眼反差。但电影中的世界不曾因为这份悲剧般的命中注定而变得灰色- -却更像始终不断的能量宣泄：疯狂的、热闹的、天真的。随便一截图就能抓到大牌客串的阵容足够让人回看；而有了《天使在美国》的试炼，加菲也仿佛驾轻就熟自己的演绎。Thank you, Jonathan Larson.

前半截有点碎，后半截有点拖。但是老夫人都走了（“不要哭，我都听不见我自己死。”），这会不会是最后一次看到唐家屯呢……
演员和服化道依然是最值得看的部分，除此之外杂乱的镜头，无意义的运镜，还有乱七八糟的剪切真的都欣赏不来。前一小时真是灾难般的体验，本就不扎实的剧情还被剪得七零八落。结尾老夫人逝去还是有点泪目，即使新生命到来也阻挡不了衰落的大势，这次可能真的要说再见了。//在影院听完片尾曲才离开，算是好好告别吧
拍出了是枝裕和的感觉，没有什么戏剧性的高潮，但每一个细节的内在张力都暗潮涌动。开头婚礼，结尾葬礼，新生儿来临，生老病死，生生不息，只要有爱，唐顿永远在。
编剧真的很暖，从剧集时期只是隐隐表现出来对Thomas的善意，到了这一次毫不掩饰的给Thomas安排了一个美好的未来。大小姐最后送Thomas的那句话真的是太好哭了。
