The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很多事，做了第一次，就会有第二次，而底线和心里的道德是会不断降低的。
大部份很有趣，黑色幽默，很讽刺，比起网络骂战，现实站队，把这拍出来多有趣，里面好多梗，好多歧视，电影框架虽然简单但可以，虽然无厘头但在剧情里有依据，埋了不少伏笔，但后期走向怪怪的，既不艺术，又不恐怖，作为一个不惧怕血腥片的，看完有点生理反胃
