The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 很多人能看到医护人员的辛勤，很多人歌颂患者团结一致勇斗病魔，但是很少人能够把缺口放小，小到私立医护机构护理员这个微不足道的个体，小到一个中年患上阿兹海默的养老院住客。
本来以为主题是英国初期疫情，结果后面是对社会和政府的控诉，如果结合得好 那还是挺棒的，但显然结局太赶鸭子上架了反而显得很仓促。整个看下来略显凌乱。。。

以小见大，科默的表演也很棒，只是看片过程中太压抑了，尤其是肯尼去世那一段，主角情绪奔溃，我也快要崩溃。围绕新冠题材未来应当会有更多有价值的作品，但我确信不会是国语片。

从头至尾的长焦镜头，带来了极浅的景深、广屏的虚焦，也是极少数能用镜头语言刻画出压抑感的电影手法。

不是想泼冷水，但是这是今年看到的最令我震撼的疫情角度的影片，疫情当下，此片无关爱情，关于依赖，关于责任。
后半小时借男女主的情感与逃离，控诉并深化政府应对疫情的不足。
新冠疫情下，英国政府对私人疗养院和护理机构的忽视，以及对英国nhs体制的抨击。就像最后莎拉在警车上说，什么时候我们变得不再平等了？中间那段莎拉深夜照顾病人的长镜头展现了朱迪的演技！
什么时候咱们这能有这样的题材？
