The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 任何一个同性恋都会有共情，都会被感动的片子。虽然很俗套，但是谁不想有人为自己这样挺身而出？
喜欢女主，女孩子们总是善待所有，包括这个世界上不被接受的人和事。
解放人，让人自由。
这种电影从电影工业角度没什么可说的，无非就是在有限的场景里依靠演员和矛盾冲突把故事与观众紧密的带入到一起，引起共情，达到最佳的影像效果
大大方方地接受没什么大不了的，爱情不分年龄性别，两个人相爱便足矣。
自由的代价是什么？一切，包括生命。
虽说是根据真事改编，但片中情节编得比较过分，煽得过于用力。影片成本不高，场景不大，基本相当于剧场表演。男主、女主两名黑人演员表现不错，演得挺有张力，值得加分。不过其中一些情节编得有些离谱，bug明显，因为借着“释放曼德拉”的由头，导演偏向同情“MK”，赋予他们很多“人性”的细节，让人们对他们最后的结局产生同情。

前半段都很好，快到结尾司法部长女儿和混血女子的真情流露过于俗套了。
