The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 能看到那么多动画电影梗在一起，与其说致敬，不如说恶意玩梗，管他呢，不然你还能到哪儿去看松鼠兄弟
梗是真多，二维三维与现实的融合有趣且不调戏。唯一败笔我觉得就是政治正确的女主。

特别可爱的爆米花电影，很迪士尼的故事又带着很多迪士尼的官方吐槽，充满各种动画的彩蛋，谁能不爱这两个花栗鼠。

剧情比较简单，甚至可以说俗套。但是穿插对各种动画的戏谑，实在是有意思。
