The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 真的是看了浪費人生兩個小時的電影……就像那種垃圾鬼故事……沒有來龍去脈，只是單純嚇你，可是一點也不恐怖呀。

柬埔寨和马来的影像表达虽然都很东南亚，潮湿、炫目、克制，但还是有很多的不同。
整體比較老套無聊⋯像小學時候看的那種鬼故事集錦。
女鬼还能飞檐走壁也算创新了。「齿虫」丧尸走向烂俗。「捉迷藏」最佳。「冥婚」啱我性癖。有效恐怖演出奖颁给人形模特男。
去过柬埔寨，让我回想起了当时亲眼见过的各种场景，非常真实。
绝大部分故事似曾相识，小故事很多看起来诚意满满，但凑在一起让人越来越不耐烦。

总共十个小故事，一般般吧，也没啥看头，不过是每个故事做了点留白，做了点让人想象的空间，没有说的那么直白。一般。

更像是纪录片的自然生长状态，角色的视点、角色塑造、历史纵深有一些问题，所以没有后劲。
个人及其私密的影像表达，梦境意识的混合与第三方媒介的结合，从某方面来说加强了导演作者本身的表达力度。此外，本片视听有着锋利的敏锐度，摄影更是细腻有加.
