The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 从今天的角度看表演过于话剧化以及人物设计突出政治化而过于单薄，但剧情设计放在当时的时代背景下还是有些意思，电影名称还颇有革命浪漫主义情怀…
政治性这么强的片子，人物也很脸谱化，基本不给演员表达人物复杂性和内心戏的空间，剪辑也不好，有些节点处于半完成状态，就是明明两个人物之间还应该有台词把对话接起来，镜头直接切断，可能是不知道接下去要怎么表达，也可能是认为那些“完整”毫无必要。但是，即使如此，孙道临居然能把这个人物演到这个位置和程度，真是了不起。李侠坐在发报机前的样子，怎一个帅字了得。黑白转彩色的4K修复做得真有那么个劲儿，最后一封电报发出，我突然鼻子一酸。这就是演员的魅力。20211007北京槐房万达影城
为了孙道临先生看的，虽说不能以现在的标准评判当时的意识，但是女演员的表演也太浮夸了吧？！

镜头好美，演员也好细腻，行云流水毫无痕迹。
日本人轻而易举抓了李杰，却轻而易举把他当成重庆方面的，轻而易举让故事烂了。
党的眼睛，党的耳朵。中国电影资料馆，4K修复上色版，清晰度很好，但是这个上色差强人意吧。

孙道临演得真好，现在有些小鲜肉的演技连那些老演员的脚趾头都比不上。

假期最后一天为适应上班看个九点钟的包场老电影，孙道临帅气。
感叹当年的电影工作者在时代条件那么艰苦的环境下依然能生产出那么多经典好片，而现在好片几乎成了凤毛麟角，陪长辈们去看的，他们比我们这辈人更能看懂这部佳作。
