The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 艾伦索金和这种故事题材简直天作之合，NB！年度最佳改编剧本，最佳群戏，剪辑也很好。
熟悉的快剪辑风格，最后的庭审戏还是挺燃的。

当然，政治官司暗藏了许多猫腻，不仅仅是美国的陪审团制度就能左右，1960年代的反越游行，夹杂了美国底层阶级各色各样的人物表演。
期待错了方向，以为庭审是重点然而只是线索。耗时冗长甚至可笑的审判过程带出了事件的回顾，人物形象也建立得很好（主要是Sacha Baron Cohen）。戏里与当代的美国变得如此相像，但结局方向却很难猜测。

7.6/10 #2020观影补标 即便酣畅淋漓，但是归根结底这种倾向性是高度危险的，即便它甚至与我的个人观点相符合，因为我们深知它在“服务”于什么，且力图“刺激”什么，所以本质上这类影片和单调重复的肾上激素性商业类型片并无二，只是在用另一种催化剂而已。
幸运的是，他们没有被判刑。“七君子”重获自由。
可以拿最佳剧本奖了，文戏武拍很精彩……七个人因思想受到审判，法官输了，被告也不算赢。

艾伦索金式爽片是真的爽，爽到想再刷一遍news room。曾经的故事还在世界的大地上发生着，但好像这样的“反抗”越来越少。

一边酒精计划一边看，困在时间里的美国老父亲，不想看家里七君子造反，只想收割来自韩国的有钱水芹菜和赖在无依之地上依依不舍的中国富二代~
说鸡确实够鸡，但能做到这么鸡也是人中凤凰了。
注定结局的政治审判，半百之后世界并没有变更好。
插画师定格住历史性的时刻和一张张激昂的面孔 而需要看精神科的Hoffman法官只配在那里敲个槌子
又一部借他人酒杯浇我们心中块垒的电影，但是看多了韩国同类影片，感觉还不如韩影能煽到我，另法官被塑造得太脸谱化了，像一群闹事的学生在挑战班主任。
那個時期青年反抗運動的訴求在於，不希望看到同胞們為了當政者的意識形態，而去參與一個不屬於公平正義、不屬於維護自己國家安全、不知為何而戰的戰爭行為，當然還有更重要的……Make Love Not War。
