The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? This is splendid cinematography. O how splendid! But somehow the story feels like self-entertainment to and only to an ironic level.
难得不枯燥的历史剧，有趣的角色、小团体和法庭戏都是看点

在细节上丰盈充沛，在主题上却直接干脆。弗兰克·兰格拉饰演的那个情绪化又不称职的大法官，甚至颇有些暗讽特朗普的意思。

片子强调思想理念重于描绘事件，居然还很扣人心弦。Sorkin拍这种题材已经成精了。
依然是密集的对白，超多信息量，关键是把故事还讲得挺精彩就很牛皮了。不过故事本身就很不错～
文本好，庭审戏也不无聊
“Do you have contempt for your government? (你是否蔑视你的政府)” - "It's nothing compared to the contempt my government has for me.(与我的政府对我的蔑视相比, 我的蔑视不值一提)” | 这个时间点上映真是太应景了，整个2020魔幻一年啊，如果当选最佳是不是也太表明奥斯卡态度了？虽然感觉奥斯卡也没在怕的。最后一幕太鸡血其实有点莫名。

导演的场景调度能力好强！前面半个小时，我一直在想为什么要看这个？后面越来越投入！节奏快，思路清晰！
且看且珍惜，工藤新一大号又不知道多少年后才出场呢，真史上最惨男主！（另，新兰永恒。）
艾伦索金带着强烈个人风格的左派作品，密集犀利的台词是子弹，锋利痛快的剪辑是刀刃，说的是60年代的芝加哥七君子审判，瞄准的却是当今美国。左派与否，这个时代需要民主，民主需要发声。
牛逼闪闪，热血沸腾，对白宛如加特林机关枪。
